You are Tutu Sweet! Birthday card

It's New Years Eve and what better way to bring in the New Year than with a birthday card for a little sweetie who's birthday falls on that all important '1st Day of the Year'. How much more important could you be. Favourite colour 'purple'
Coloured with Copics, added glue pen to the skirt in squiggles
then poured glitter over in pink but alas in the photo it looks more
red so you will just have to believe me when I say its

a lovely hot pink glitter. It looks better IRL than here. Anyhooo I added glitter
to the headband as well. To add to the card itself I cut two layers of the stitched
die cut, the original with the Copic coloured (Mo's Digital Pencil) image
and another larger for under this. I then chose a couple of purple Copics and
blended them around the edge of the circle only going in far enough to be covered
by the top layer.

I used the sentiment from a Penny Black set with other images
drawn by Mo but in stamp form. Finished off with a couple of
rows of stars die cut from silver glitter paper.

Thank you so much for coming to visit and I hope to see you again soon.

'Tis the Season to be Jolly

This next card was my start into next years Christmas cards. I ordered the stamp and it cameo late for this years cards and its so cute I thought I would get started colouring. If you know Stamping Bella you will recognise this as one of hers. The little chickie laying on the ground is a stamp on its own and you can stamp anywhere.

I die cut the tag then stamped and coloured with Copics finishing off
the christmas lights with Wink of Stella.

Love them, so cute and easy to colour.

Trying to decide if I want to add anything else, plenty of time to
decide on that later. Cant believe I have actually started on my next years
cards, but there's a first time for everything.

Next up, I found in my box of pre -cut die cuts a pile of pieces

this stunning looking Christmas snowflake/decoration. They are cut from
glitter paper, cardstock and foam.

This photo is a bit blurry, its hard to get the camera to focus with all
the glitter.

But they are extremely pretty and I had a lot of fun putting them
all together.

The die used is from Reverse Confetti
As you can see here they give you ideas on how to
layer the pieces. I ended up cutting lots of pieces and found it
could be rather a pain as the little pieces are what really make
these look good but they are only one offs so thats lots
of times through the machine.

I found it easier to to add sparkle by adding gems. I have made these full size and
added a full size on back. I will add to a card for christmas with removable tape next year
so its a card but also a gift. Three made and hopefully I will get more made as they
would make lovely gifts I think.

Now to end my post a couple of photos of some trees out front that have just seeded, its only for a few days before the berries come in.  The wild birds love it and I woke to my son telling me about the noise of hundreds of them raiding the trees. Of course as soon as I went out the door to take a photo they flew off in all directions so I only caught a few cheeky ones

Today there is no white fluff left at all. They will be back as soon as the berries come in and the trees will heave with their colour and noise.  Aren't they beautiful.

Three Very Easy Christmas Cards

Todays post shows you three very simple cards that I ended up doing lots of.

The baubles are from a stamp set from Annabelle's Stamps and they are really pretty and I haven't used them anywhere near enough. They aren't available anymore, sorry.

I coloured the Christmas baubles with copics, fussy cut them out.
Added them with dimensional foam and drew the line
on with silver pen.

I used blue Distress Ink on the 'Seasons Greetings'
Very simple card.

Next up is a card with lots of white, white card and white sparkle
paper for the snowflakes and silver mirror cardstock for
the sentiment.

I added the die cut snowflakes with glue then once dry I trimmed
off with scissors.

Very pretty and simple card. The Seasons Greetings sentiment
was added first. these are rather large die cut snowflakes
but they look quite good here.

Another card that has turned out well and once done the first
time was good for producing in bulk.

Next up is this Santa and reindeer that I bought last year too late
to use for Christmas then and had coloured and fussy cut
but they were waiting for inspiration.

Then it hit me. Used a patterned page with Christmas words
cut to the size of the card.

Added Santa and the reindeer with dimensional foam.

Added a bit of Kindy Glitz to Santa and all done. So easy
and I loved them. They all went off with the others and I have to confess
that no family or friends got Christmas cards this year. I was not organised
enough with trying to reach my goal for the Caring Hearts Card Drive
and moving mum and dad into the nursing home. So family will just have
to wait till next year, they will survive and friends will get a card after Christmas
just so they know I care. I think any card is better than no card.

And Those Christmas Cards Keep Rolling On.......Some Glitter and some Foiling

For those of you who are interested Vera has posted the latest on the Caring Hearts Card Drive. You will never guess how many cards they collected..........over 64,000 , thats triple what they collected last year. That is unbelievable, isn't it. One lady sent 1,000 cards just from her. I cant believe this wonderful community. Anyway if you interested in more information I have provided the link at Vera's name above.

Some more of my Christmas card collection

This cards made using another of Mo's Digital Pencil images.
A cute little baby in a Santa hat sitting with teddy. Coloured with Copics.
Finished off with some Kindy Glitz (love this stuff but hate how it can
warp the card stock). Felt it needed a little something so I added a strip of
Washi Tape with circles and stars

then overlaid the coloured image slightly. This cute little image
comes with the sweet sentiment so I used that but had already coloured
and attached to the card front before I thought of Foiling (ahh well
next time). Finished it off with a die cut snowflake from white glitter paper.

Next is my bit of fun card.

I was playing around with foiling, I have some different colours to
use and of course I bought rainbow colour. I had watched a clip on
YouTube for the Minc and the Reactive Mist. It was one of those

things I bought then wondered why after as I went on line to
see ways to use it and found it was rather limited. Spray thin lines
or thicker mmmm wasn't doing it for me. Then I saw
another product being painted on and left to dry and thought
why not this mist.
Cheap brush, disposable little container. You only need the smallest
amount and I just brushed on roughly. I did about 20 tags - white, black and
kraft. I left it all to dry well and used paper sleeves to put the tag through the minc
so I wouldn't ruin the plastic sleeves. I made sure to really let the solution dry well
before adding the foil.
You are better off doing rough strokes, I filled some areas too well
so the foil was very solid and I preferred the patchy look.

I decided to make this a special penguin card. Base is black with white dots
representing the galaxy. The tag foil looks like a wave, a magic wave bringing
in Santa's helper on his multicoloured surfboard. Finished off with a Stamplorations
'Merry Christmas' and a red Christmas ribbon.

Its different and bright and I love it.
